Establishing the Local Level Project Advisory Committee

Fostering Collaboration for Effective Project Implementation

We understand that successful project implementation requires active engagement and oversight from local stakeholders. To enhance project monitoring and ensure smooth execution, we have established a Local Level Project Advisory Committee in the municipalities we are working with.

Objective

The primary objective of forming the Local Level Project Advisory Committee was to bring together local leaders and relevant officials to provide guidance, monitor project progress, and address any challenges that arise during implementation.

Process of Implementation

To form the advisory committee, a meeting was held with local elected representatives and officials from relevant departments under the coordination of the municipal chief. This collaborative approach ensured that the committee members were well-versed in the needs and priorities of their communities.

  • Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality: The committee was formed under the leadership of Municipal Chief Ramesh Babu Thapa.

Committee Members:

  • Indira Tiwari: Vice-Chairperson of Sahid Lakhan RM
  • Dipak Pandey: Ward Number 3 Chairperson and Economic Development Committee Coordinator
  • Nabin Adhikari: Agriculture Section Head
  • Rajan Ranabhat: Chief Engineer and Disaster Management Committee Member
  • Adarsha Sigdel: Field Manager, PESHA Project

This diverse team of local leaders and professionals brings together a wealth of knowledge in governance, agriculture, economic development, and disaster management to guide the project's progress.

Output

  • Advisory Committee Formation: A six-member advisory committee was successfully established in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality.
  • Key Roles: The committee will play a crucial role in monitoring project activities, providing strategic guidance, and swiftly resolving any issues that may arise during the implementation phase.

Our Commitment to Community Engagement

The creation of the Local Level Project Advisory Committee reflects our commitment to engaging with local stakeholders in meaningful ways. By involving community leaders in the decision-making process, we aim to ensure that our projects are not only effective but also aligned with the local needs and aspirations
